We invite and encourage you to make a contribution toward the renovation of our neighborhood park.  Donations of $120 $220, $500 and $1000 will be recognized with an engraved brick as part of the renovation at Portage Park Playground. Friends will also have a listing in the program at the Groundbreaking and Grand Opening Ceremony.  These bricks are available on a first come first served basis.

Special Offer: From now until the end of the 2010 summer farmer’s market season (Oct 31), if you purchase a brick at the market, we are offering a $20 discount.  This offer is only valid at our farmers markets.

 

Please consult your employer for the possibility of providing matching funds to our community project based on your contribution.
*Friends of Portage Park is a 501 c-3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law.

Be advised that brick inscriptions are intended solely to recognize the donor and assist in the raising funds for Portage Park Playground.  The only inscriptions that will be allowed are those that contain only the name(s) of the donor(s) or family member(s) or to commemorate the death of a family member, and in such instances may include the words “in memory of” and the deceased person’s name, and a date (either the date of the death or date of inscriptions are subject to the final approval by The Chicago Park District.
